a place far away,
people die most everyday.
streets are unsafe,
bombs all around,

soliders patroling, driving Humvee,
all around is enemy,
keep alert for activity,
you don't want to die today
ears open, eyes alert
with the girls
you never flirt.
even in this place of death,
god is there,
with his own,
comforting them, or taking them home.
