if only you would stay
the kids will cry
i feel as if i will die
you feel constricted
you need your freedom
why did you have children
they blame themselves
and cry at night
we are so alone
you were a part
of the family
jigsaw puzzle

missing a big piece
still love you
kids still care

nothing but joy

Christmas 2011
The people are singing,
carols abound.
Go to the nursing home,
and sing to them.
Is there any thing,
that we can do,
to lighten their load,
and let them see Jesus,
in us??

Oh I just found a hamburger,
only slightly bitten.
Must be Christmas.
People to full to eat it all.
I am settled down,
under my bridge.
In a cardboard box.
warm and cozy.
Here come the church,
right on time,
with a blanket or two,
sandwich and stew.
Oh what a merry time.
Jesus is near.
He is always here.
He knows how it is to live
in a stable.
He was poor like me,
without pillow or bed.
no place to lay his head.
Let me say I know the Jesus
that came from nothing
made himself nothing
and died for me.
